Itinerary
Your safari begins early in the morning with pick-up from your Arusha hotel. After a short briefing by your guide, drive southwest toward Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic scenery, iconic baobab trees, and impressive herds of elephants.
Enter the park for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch inside the park. Spot elephants bathing in the Tarangire River, prides of lions lounging in the shade, and graceful giraffes browsing among the acacias. The park is also home to over 400 bird species, making it a bird lover’s paradise.
In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu, a charming town nestled in the green hills near the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive in time for dinner and a relaxed evening at your lodge.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, carrying your packed picnic lunch for the day. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries.
Spend the day exploring the crater floor, where you can spot all members of the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino — as well as hippos, zebras, flamingos, and countless gazelles.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending back to the crater rim and continuing to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu with a packed lunch and head toward the Namanga border post, where you will complete immigration formalities. Here, your Kenyan guide will meet you and continue the journey to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon, where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Enjoy dinner and unwind at your lodge as the sounds of the African night fill the air.
